I find it a bit ridiculous that the secretary doesn't answer the phone (tried about 4 times during regular hours), and you can't even leave a message to have someone call back. Sad state of affairs.

I go this clinic as I am currently in the methadone program and I have been seeing Dr. Dyment for a couple of years now. I know that being in the program often results in those who know treating you differently but you would expect the personnel working in the clinic to be professional. Unfortunately, this is not the case. The secretary is incredibly rude and she blatantly gossips about patients to other staff members and even patients. Furthermore, she continuously complains about her job and the fact that she doesn't make enough money and works so hard, even though she usually gets the young lady working as her assistant to do everything now. Speaking of her, this young lady is very nice and does the job well, but I feel sorry for her having to work with this woman. I really like Dr. Dyment, I feel he is a wonderful doctor who cares about his patients. However, I don't feel this woman's behaviour is the making the clinic the best environment for recovering addicts, who already come with a host of other issues they're dealing with. I understand that working with methadone patients can, at times, be difficult, but we deserve a certain level of care that isn't being offered at this location. This woman obviously doesn't care about her job and, as such, deserves to be fired immediately.

I have been going to that clinic once a week to see my doctor (Dr. Dyment) for some time now. While he is a wonderful, caring doctor his secretary is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I continuously see her gossiping about patients, not only to other employees, but to other patients as well! I have even seen her complain about the doctor to some of the patients, which is absurd because he is nothing but kind and patient with her. Apparently, him asking her to do her job is just crazy to her! I find her lack of bedside manner truly revolting, especially in her field. It really seems as though she is bothered by having to deal patients. I go in there every week on time and am nothing but polite to her, yet she is sometimes short with me. Then there are other patients whom she clearly dislikes and talks down to or makes nasty comments about them when they walk away. I am honestly shocked she has been allowed to continue working there as long as she has or why Dr. Dyment, an amazing man, has not noticed or taken action against her behaviour. Beware!
