Dr. Angel Arnaout really lives up to her name as she is truly an angel, and she has saved my life. From my very first visit when we discussed the type of cancer I had, and we decided on our course of action to my post-op appointment, she was awesome. She was completely open and honest about everything, she did not sugar coat anything, she told it like it is. She has laughed with me and cried with me. She made me feel comfortable, like I was talking with an old friend. She took the time to answer all my questions and never made me feel like I was asking dumb questions. She is a beautiful person inside and out.

She was always there, met me without appointments, answered my questions honestly, I felt that she treated me and looked for my interest like i was a member of her family.

I had a very caring and comforting experience of having surgery at the Queensway Carleton Hospital. The Day Surgery Unit staff was friendly, caring, and competent. Especially my doctor Angel Arnaout looked after me in an utmost medical professional way. She understood, diagnosed, and most importantly explained the surgical procedure during the consultation appointment. She came before the surgery made sure I was relaxed and reassured that she would take care of everything and it would all go well. Right after the surgery she personally called my family and informed about the successful procedure. She exudes self confidence, a caring doctor of precision, and professional competence. She is indeed an excellent doctor and an angel like person.

My wife and I found Dr. Arnaout to be always helpful, patient, understanding and willing to explain any concerns we had about my wife's cancer surgery. We consider her to be an excellent physician and extremely competent surgeon, and we are grateful for the service she provided.

Did not provide information for patient to make an informed decision. Made unrealistic promises she was not able to keep. Did not present risks for the procedure she recommended. Made rude derogatory comments when asked questions. Dismissed patient concerns. Good surgeon, but extremely poor communication skills. Treats patients like idiots who wouldn't understand their own bodies.
