Unreal expectations for surgical outcome - only shows you pictures of the perfect ones- lots of promises for test results that never happened on time. Changed her and 1/2 way though appointment - should have gone with the first surgical plan. Late for every appointment. When I complained that there was NO surgical aftercare, despite many complications she refused to see me again. Surgery aftercare had to be taken over by another. Recovery has been MONTHS and will require more surgery to fix what was done originally.

Mimi Allan
During my initial visit she determined that a lumpectomy with a breast reduction and lift along with a balancing contra lateral reduction was the way to go, and showed my husband and I dozens of stunning before and after photos on her iPhone of her work. However, don’t expect to come out of the OR looking anything like those photos. It would be far more helpful to show photos of breast cancer patients after their lumpectomy. What is the point of the others? Also, it would be a good idea to mention any unexpected issues when you see your patient on the way out. She is a competent surgeon, just make sure you understand what you’re getting in the way of all the options for yourself. As a nurse suggested, record your interview, that way you will have all the facts of your meeting.
