dr lingertat told me i have liver cancer without consulting my hepatologist at Toronto Western Hospital or my GP in Peterborough. He gave me codeine and told me to come back for an MRI which he had booked for 2 months down the road. It is the opinion of staff at TWH that i do not have liver cancer and the CT scan equipment at PRHC is incorrectly calibrated. I continue to have abdominal pain which has lasted in excess of 6 weeks. I feel like a mongrel dog that has been starved and beaten for 2 months then kicked into the gutter to writhe in pain until death comes and delivers me from this misery. There will be no Christmas at my house this year.

Dr. Lingertat Discharged a suicidal patient from PRHC about a year ago saying he didn't feel this patient would act out. This patient returned a little while later deceased. John Richard Lingertat only received a 'slap on the wrist' from The College off Physicians and Surgeons for this gross negligence. As a Paralegal in Peterborough I would encourage this persons family to launch a Wrongful Death suit. Jeffrey Joseph Scanlon (705) 535-0077
