I understand nurses also get sick but how does an establishment such as this not have an on call nurse? I haven't eaten in 40 hours and purged my guts like no other only to be told my appointment is cancelled 30 minutes before my scheduled time. This is a disaster of a clinic. I will not return. The clerks are some of the worst I've seen and semi retired doctors should get out and be fully retired instead of running a half-assed clinic. PES = garbage because that's how they treat their patients. Stay away if you can!

Very negative experience with Provis Endoscopy in Ottawa. A routine colonoscopy went wrong. Staff not too professional. On the day of the procedure my file got misplaced twice; receptionists at the front desk constantly bickering, not mindint the patiennts. The anesthesiologist mistakenly thought I in for endoscopy (did not seem to be familiar with my file), doctor who performed the procedure neither, and worst of all, when the accident happened they did not even try to call my husband, who was left sitting in the waiting room without anybody telling him I was rushed to the hospital.

Made me wait over an hour after showing up twenty minutes early is unexceptable and appling. I would never recommend this clinic ad I would never come back. Horrible service and no condolences.

STAY AWAY from The Ottawa Provis Rudd - PES Clinic. What should have been a routine colonoscopy turned out to be a nightmare. Let's face it, this is a very invasive procedure & you are relying on the expertise of the staff. DR MALCOLM CHAMPION proceeded without allowing time for the sedation to take effect. It was very painful. He tried again..still painful..gave more sedation & tried again. I screamed loud enough to be heard in the waiting room. That's when he stopped. Told me he'd never had this happen before. LIAR.l!!! Suggested I stay on a liquid diet another 3 days & he would attempt again with heavier sedation. Well if he was willing to try & push that through while I was in pain, I certainly don't want him touching me when I am completely out. I've since found many bad reports on the clinic (see Ratemed?) but specifically Dr. Champion for this exact problem. The Ontario College of Physicians & Surgeons closed this office for a number of months until several conditions were met. The entire clinic is poorly run using retired & semi retired doctors who are obviously just supplementing their retirement income. SHAME ON YOU DR. CHAMPION
