when speaking to me, during interview, was very cold. Obvious that I was brought to tears, did not stop during interview to ask why, did not delve into past, was very general when this individual looked at written document latter(generalized comments), did not appear professional and hurried through the meeting. Had a "bully-type" style as voice was slightly raised and did not appear open to new ideas. Had idea in head and did not listen to me when I tried to explain the entire reason why I was there. Had whole reason in her head as to why and what she wanted to know before I had a chance to speak everything that needed to be spoken. Very unprofessional. This individual would not recommend being referred to this psychiatrist. Does not look into past, makes assumptions into past, without proper facts or looking at proper factual documents made by other doctors or psychiatrists. I am very concerned that she may not only made me feel worse going to her after I left, but psychiatry is a caring profession, I would side-step this psychiatrist at all costs.

aprox 80% of nursing staff rude and abrupt, some caught yelling at long term care patients, garbage bags lined garbage cans in suicide watch wards where patients are alone for prolonged periods of time, nurses are neglectful, do not do proper follow up with other medical professions throughout hospital, other medical professionals do not do rounds in psych wards, even though clearly indicated, very neglecful of patient needs, med errors, when patient had adverse reaction to med, nurses at station did nothing, even though patient had very fast heart rate, next day, was promised visit by doctor, did not happen, and following night, same med was attempted to be administered, luckily I just pulled med out and gave it back, hospital advocacy in process(2 months after fact) even though this needed to be done sooner. Lots more, but my suggestion, stay out of North Bay psych ward, it's bad for your health.....
