I been with this medical centre for 4 years now, and I love it I can call and be in that day or the next. When I do go in I usually only wait 20 minutes tops (Between when I first walk in the door to when I go in to see my doctor) I would most definitely recommend this facility to anyone!! :)

Front staff needs work, as I've read the other comments, I'm not the only one who thinks so. They are never welcoming. Very rude. I see dr Mendis and she doesn't ever really know what's going on. never have I been into an appointment on time. Always waiting at least 45 mins. Mendis doesn't really want to help people I feel. The first time I was there she looked at me height and weight and laughed. Told me I needed to lose weight....thanks I've already figured that out and was on my way to losing a bunch. I don't think anyone wants their doctor laughing at them. Made me feel very unimportant to her. This office needs a lot of help. I will be finding a new dr and office as soon as I can.

From my experence as a patient at this clinic I have only the best things to say. I have always been greeted with a smile from the front desk and if not I know how busy they must be. I find the staff welcoming to not just me but everyone else. I have also seen staff memebers go out of their way to help others while I was waiting which is quick for any doctors office. I am blessed to have such a wonderful Doctor!!!! I dont know what the others are talking about. very happy with the service. I will never be able to thank Dr. Mendez enough for all she has helped me with :-)

Patient.
Dr. Mendis is a decent Doctor. She is Professional and fair in contrast to others in town. Not my first choice if it were up to me but i am very grateful to have a family Dr in Grande Prairie. She also has made great recommendations for specialists and procedures that benefit me first and my finances. The Staff itself at this clinic needs some work. The medical industry is a difficult one i am aware, double that with also performing a customer service and it is even more difficult. That said i don't need to be reminded when i look at or speak to one of these staff by either tone or facial expressions that i am just another pesky, ill, "customer". Which i what i feel like rather then a patient when i walk through the doors. A simple one time question should never ever be met with a standoff-ish disposition. Which happens EVERY time myself or my significant other ask one. Yes, your job is taxing, no, it is not my fault. I see the verbal abuse sign, if you don't want it, take some preventative measures yourselves. It is not a one way street. Don't forget where our tax dollars go ladies. I think maybe you lose sight of that. Smile at the folks who make it possible for you to get a pay check and treat them with the same respect you want when you are on the other side of an admin desk. In my line of work if i treated my clients the way i have been treated and have seen them treat others with respect to simple questions let alone my health, my clients wouldn't think twice about leaving and finding someone else better suited and PROFESSIONAL and pleasant to deal with. I guess that isn't a concern of theirs in a recession proof industry?? Seems a little ungrateful to me, but i have never had to work around sick people before. Unfortunately word of mouth goes along way. Good Doctors, or not the public deserves a bit more then that when we are already there feeling crappy as it is or there with a loved one in ill or in pain.

My doctor is OK, but the staff that work in the office are terrible! Short with patients, unsure of the reason They are booking the appointment, and the office hours are just terrible! Also, they don't confirm appointments & if you miss 2, you have to find a new doctor......
