Amazing compassionate caring physician. I have been seeing him for my backpain for the past 3 years and he has changed my life. Ne never rushes me, he always wants to know about my life and not just where it hurts. I had seen many pain doctors before but had no results in past. His personality is what makes him different, he truly cares and it shows.

I was at a community talk that he provided for free last week, and have not seen him as a patient yet. Everybody at community Center talk highly of him... he has been doing lots of volunteer work for years....but I am most impressed by his knowledge and his passion for pain management. I am going to ask my doctor to refer me to him. Looking forward to it

I don't know where to start.... I saw him initially 1 year ago and my life has changed since then. I used to think my pain will never go away and it ruled my life, but now thanks to Dr H my pain is much better but more important is his compassion and humanity in teaching me to move beyond pain and to not let pain define my life. I now work full time, have started gym and swimming, I still have some pain but it is only small part of my life. I feel my last 14 years were lost years and thanks to Dr H I learned to live again. He is a skillful physician but what I admire about him is his humbleness and compassion

I have been seeing Dr. H for over a year now. He has been very caring and has helped not just with my pain but also with my weight and mental health. He has very helpful videos on Youtube on weight loss and also videos of his pyschotherapist Roza Assar on Youtube regarding CBT for chronic pain management. I find the videos helpful. His website "Richmondhillpaindoctor.com" is also full of resources on exercises and information for chronic pain. Every time I see him, I learn something new. He does not just give me pain injections but also teaches me exercises and stretches as well as motivates me to eat healthy and lose weight. I totally recommend him to anybody suffering from pain.

Great visit. I had my first consult last week and it was unbelievable. I never had a specialist spend so much time with me and want to know everything about my pain and my feelings towards it. He spent nearly 2 hours with me. He did not interrupt me and let me tell my story. He even reviewed all the X-ray and mri that my family doctor had sent him and showed me on the poster on the wall exactly what they meant. After 15 years of suffering, I feel somebody finally understands my issue and now I understand exactly what is wrong. I look forward to start treatment with him. By the way, the patients in waiting room and nurses were talking very highly of him. He also gave me his website www.richmondhillpaindoctor.com for more resources and exercise instructions to review. He also referred me to the clinic Youtube page "ROZA ASSAR" for CBT for chronic pain management by their psychotherapist.
