See http:// anangelinourlives-awk. blogspot.ca/ College’s Decision “The routine use of antibiotics prior to bowel surgery is an important aspect of care that was NEGLECTED by Dr. Klein in this case.” My daughter bled out 12 after discharge from hospital No antibiotics given prior to major abdominal surgery. No antibiotics given for abdominal infection whereby all staples were removed No antibiotics given to treat the presence of "many gram negative bacilli" (same category as C Difficile

Dr. Klein performed a laparoscopic hernia repair for me last year. I found Dr. Klein to be extremely knowledgeable, he took the time to answer my questions, he followed up with me post op, and made himself available for any questions or concerns that I had in a very timely matter. He took time to come to the phone when I had a question. I felt very well looked after by his staff both in his office and at Humber regional center. They were amazing. Overall it was an excellent experience. I definitely recommend him especially for any kind of hernia repair. Thanks Dr Klein!!

Dr Klein performed open abdominal surgery to remove a tumor and performed a colon resection. All done without the mandatory antibiotic prophylaxis. He has done everything possible to avoid accountability including lying to the CEO and COO of the hospital and to the College of Phys & Surgeons. But all still protect him. From the College's third decision--"Dr. Klein neglected to provide antibiotic prophylaxis and this was an oversight" But do disciplinary actions taken. My daughter bled to death 12 hours after discharge. Dr. Klein did not see her on the day of discharge.
