In my opinion, Dr.McDermott disregarded my safety during my neuro exam, and did not have safety measures in place, in case I had lost my balance and fallen. In my opinion, as well, he disregarded MANY other specialists' diagnosis ( I have a medical history of Guillian-Barre syndrome, hemiplegic complex migraines, asthma, and liver disease) and several ABNORMAL blood test results and tried to conclude (despite this) that my illness was psychiatric. The specialist who asked Dr.McDermott to consult was very apologetic of Dr.McDermott's conduct, and let me know he did not share his opinion. The nurses at the hospital, who witnessed his conduct, also let me know they did not share his opinion. His conduct embarrassed me and upset me and I would never recommend him.

Don't judge a book by it's cover! He may be young but he is extremely knowledgeable. I have been seeing doctors for years about dizziness, headaches and a bunch of other symptoms and they have not helped at all. I saw him once and he was able to diagnose and fix the problem! A smart and wonderfully kind doctor! Would recommend him to anyone

I have a referral to see this Doctor in June 2016, but I am very concerned after seeing the poor ratings on various sites including Ratemds.com and serviceratings. I have decided not to see him. I need someone competent who is familiar with MTBI (Mild Traumatic Brain Injury) as I have been suffering for over 4 years now. Like "Concerned" since I cannot rate him yet and I cannot submit a comment unless I provide a rating, I will rate him average. It is very sad that the College of Physicians don not have a simple process to track and follow up on complaints.
