Awesome doctor! Dr. Nelson is very nice and listens to me as a patient. I would suggest him as my grand parents did for me.

John Smith

I have been a patient of Dr. Nelsons for over 20 years, and my biggest regret is that I did not find a new physician sooner. Many doctors think that we "need" them and we don't have choices in finding a new one. This is not the case any longer and there are lots of great options available out there. I was able to find a new physician for my family with ease after experiencing my "final straw" with Dr. Nelson and his incredibly rude and dismissive staff. Initially Dr. Nelson was a pretty good and caring doctor, and that is why I brought my husband and daughter to his practice as well, but in the past 5 years or more, as my husband is fond of saying, he is just "phoning it in." He is there in body, but not in spirit any longer and has forgotten that he is there to care for his patients needs. The final straw for our family was being billed for appointments which we cancelled. His staff was rude and insulting when we expressed that these appointments had been cancelled, and Dr. Nelson insisted that he was "sticking by his decision" to bill us. Way to go Dr. Nelson!!. I hope it was well worth it because you lost a family who had been seeing you for over 20 years because your receptionist messed up and did not record the cancellations and won't admit her mistake. Good bye to wait times up to 2 hours, and to 2-5 minute visits in which you are not listened to. Good bye to voice mail which says "don't leave us a message because it won't be returned" and rude staff who actually talk about patients behind there little protective glass as if we don't hear you. Hello - to a positive medical experience.
