Anonymous MD Patient of Dr. Zando

Dr. Zando is the worst. I came to her a few years ago for a abscess drainage in my arm. She stabbed me with a scalpel, moved the scalpel around without any anesthetic, and then told me to take antibiotics to prevent infection. On day 4 of 10 for the antibiotics, my skin started to peel off everywhere and I went to see her. As a MD, I am aware of the side effects of antibiotics and I suggested to her something more insidious caused by the antibiotics (SJS). She blew me off and said 'don't be a baby', that she wont change my meds, that I should 'grow up' and and sent me home. I went to 2 emergency rooms about the peeling skin and no one took me seriously and sent me home. BOOM! a few days later, I cant breathe, my skins peeling off EVERYWHERE and I got o emergency and get diagnosed with a SEVERE drug allergy and am hospitalized for 7 days with SJS. If Zando had listened and switched me meds like I asked her when I saw her, this could have all been prevented. Lousy doctor who thinks she knows better than everyone else. Very condescending, inconsiderate, and full of herself.
