Dr. Hamrahi is a wonderful, compassionate man. He provided palliative care to my husband and helped our family through what was a very difficult and traumatic time. He is everything one could hope for in a doctor - kind, caring, knowledgeable, insightful and very responsive. A very gifted human being.

daughter of a patient
After my dad has been diagnosed as a metastasis cancer patient, his family doctory lost patience to help my dad becasue he thinks all the uncomfort issue would be a direct result of cancer. Three weeks ago Dr. Hamrahi accepted my father as his palliative care patient. My father's health status improves a lot during this three weeks. Dr. Hamrahi cares and protects my father from unneccessary treatment. He analysis my father's symptom carefully and suggests the treatment solution. He is currently trying to help my dad to gain more strength and better appetite. We are really grateful for his positive attitude and treating my dad as a normal patient. It is a big encouragement to my dad. Thank you, Dr. Harmrahi.

Leslie Battrick
Dr. Hamrahi provided superb palliative care to my mother in 2009, enabling my sisters and me to care for her at home until her last few days. He was always available for house calls, often on short notice, and provided proactive care, information and advice on many aspects of my mother's condition and care. On one occasion he was positively heroic when my mother suddenly experienced severe pain, dashing out the door, through the garden and hurdling over a hedge to fetch his pain kit from his car. Luckily, the condo was on the ground floor; otherwise we might have also witnessed him vault over a balcony wall!

Dr. Hamrahi treats senior patients with respect, kindness and dignity. He is very knowledgeable and works well with my mother's previous specialists to provide optimal care. My 91 year old mother with dementia is put at ease with him, trusts him and looks forward to seeing him and that says a lot!
