My son had a Tibia / Fibia lower leg fracture. Dr. Gallimore was the on call surgeon. I found him to be arrogant, patronizing and uninformative unless you asked specific questions. He comes across as condescending and has a horrible bedside manner. Initially I asked if my son should go to school with full leg cast, I was told "yes people do attend school with casting" (verbatim) obviously I would know that however the nature of the fracture was sever so the concern was valid. During the next appointment (7days later) he advised my son should keep his leg immobile, for the following 3 weeks, to ensure the healing was not affected. Clearly that is not possible if he's attending school. Each follow up this Doctor acts as if he doesn't have the time to address concerns and if you voice any, he reminds you "he is the doctor" and is dismissive or defensive. As the parent of a child, with this type of fracture, this doctor should be more sympathetic to the concerns we have and patient with our questioning. I will be taking my son to an alternate surgeon for a second opinion.

Did not collect sufficient information, and informed WSIB that I did not have significant findings to support an orthopaedic impairment. I have been in pain for 4 years and because of his diagnosis I will not be getting the help that I need.

Dr Gallimore is a helpless ''doctor'' who advice to take pain killer instead of solving a real issue. Knowing and seeing that he has been helpless he thought that being arrogant and rude is going to make him look like better. Failing in a technical issue is acceptable but failing in a human level and being disrespectful is unacceptable ! I can't be more honest about what I just wrote.

Dr.Gallimore did an assessment for intact insurance after my car accident.Dr.Gallimore was biased and dishonest ,he also put the slant on the injured not him self.Dr.Gallimore was all so more concerned with his cell phone not the injured , it was a long weekend.Dr.Gallimore cannot be trusted.

Dr. G. performed hip surgery on me last month. Very efficient, no-nonsense and I was thrilled at the speed with which the process went with him. Altogether a fairly pleasant experience thanks to him.
