This Doctor should be banded. Know knowing where he is from, I understand his ignorance towards women.I'd rather go cold turkey off all meds, then to have to have him access me.

I won't even go as far as calling this guy a doctor so.... Mr. Thangroopan is a complete joke. He's rude, insulting, and didn't even make an effort to get to the root of my visit. I will never see him again. Ive already filed a report against him and I urge other who have been mistreated by him to do so as well. I can't believe my tax dollars pay for this guy.

Appalled Patient

If you can see someone else, you should. He is outrageously disrespectful, rude, and lacking any empathy. He should not have his medical license. The one thing he can do is write a script with a discussion of less than 2 minutes. If you have EVER had an interaction with him you should report him for what I am sure was an absolutely atrocious exchange with someone who is less than a human being.

This is the worst doctor I've ever seen. I am so shocked to see a doctor like this in Canada. I am a suicidal patient and he was the only "Psychiatrist" available. Not only does he come half an hour late to the office every single time, he has no Idea what he is doing. He is extremely rude and finishes the appointment in quick 2 mins, after prescribing medication and sending me out the door. I've even told him the medications don't work twice, and he said he will not change it. He does not even have tissues in his office. When I was crying and asked for a tissue he told me to find one outside at the reception before I leave. Recently I missed my last appointment because I was out of the country. I paid the 75$ fee for missing an appointment with him and then I rebooked another appointment. I was the first appointment which was at 10 am. I came in at 9:50 to check in. I waited for half an hour before he even showed up to the office. At which point he began taking other patients before me. I waited another hour. After the last patient I got permission from the reception and knocked on his door. He told me I can't see him anymore as a patient I am being discharged and I need to figure it out myself. He was extremely rude and did not let me talk and kept telling me to leave. He saw that I was having a panic attack at that moment and he did not do anything about it and told me to leave. He was taking out some sort of anger or revenge or something because I did not make my last appointment. I would not say that about someone but I can tell how mad and upset he was. He kept saying you missed your appointment last time I don't need to see you. You will not be a patient anymore. Well according to his "policy" if you miss an appointment you need to pay 75$ to see him again. So then why did I pay that money for? From the beginning i could tell this guy is some sexist egotistical piece of garbage. I could tell he thinks extremely highly of himself and has his own major mental health issues. Someone like this should not be a doctor. He shouldn't even be in public. He should be locked up somewhere. I have contacted the college of physicians and surgeons and I will make sure he gets fired. Please please please do not go to him if you have mental health issues. It will only make it worse. I felt suicidal after seeing him. Please find someone else.
