I had a very frustrating experience with Dr. Ticea. I saw her twice in the past two years, and it was the same each time. She did not listen to what I had to say, she was condescending and dismissive of my symptoms, and of the opinion of the specialist I previously consulted. My goal was to get a follow-up referral to a specialist, but instead, I got a referral for a blood test for general symptomology that had barely anything to do with my condition. She mentioned that if the test is positive, they will call me, and if not…well, I am on my own. One might think that she is incompetent, but since she did not listen to the explanation of my symptoms, and ignored the diagnosis of the specialist, her issue might be more about her lack of listening skills (and basic bedside manner), than about medical competency.

Bad communicator, rude and has no interest in listening to why you are in her office. She typically jumps to an obvious conclusion after hearing your first or second sentence. Saw her 3 times, and every times she refused to examine the area of my body that was affected. At every visits she basically dismissed my symptoms (the few that she listened to), and suggested a general blood test, with no follow-up.
