I have found Dr Mahmood to be consistently arrogant, impatient and condescending. He seems to make snap judgements about how severe or genuine your condition is. If you have cancer, or something equally grave, then by all reports he is excellent. But if there is a *slightest chance* you may be faking, or exaggerating your symptoms, he makes it very clear he doesn't consider it, or you, to be worth his time. This is most obvious when trying to discuss emotional, psychological or other "subjective" symptoms and issues with him. I am disabled, with multiple issues, some of which are admittedly minor, but often aggravate my larger issues. Dr Mahmood made it clear that he thinks that, since my issues have been diagnosed and a treatment has been decided on, I am no longer worthy of his time. He has no interest in, or patience for, my attempts to seek out better, more effective treatment options. It is also abundantly clear that he puts the lowest possible priority on getting the various paperwork done. It is often weeks, and sometimes requiring reminder phone calls, before he finally fills things out. When he does finally get around to it, he fills them out as briefly as possible. I have had to resubmit forms because he caused them to be late and I have had applications rejected because he filled them out in such a minimal fashion. It comes across as if he thinks my condition is a bunch of BS and he can't conceal his impatience to get me out of his office so he can move on to the next patient.
