Dr. Swirsky is nice and friendly, but everytime I go and see her, I end up having to wait 30-40 mins past my appointment time. Sometimes I feel like when I'm talking to her, she isn't even paying attention and end up having to repeat myself. I understand she is busy and all, but going to see a doctor is stressful for me on it's own.

Karen is a caring doctor. While many family practices approach patients from a business model approach, Karen does not make me feel like a number. I have never felt my concerns were minimized. She has always demonstrated a genuine desire to care for me and my family. She is an attentive listener, who provides useful, relevant information, and will question other professional's random prescriptions if necessary. She is first and foremost a kind, intelligent and caring individual. In regards to promptness, I believe a serious shortage of doctors in Canada generally impacts inevitable long waiting room times for many patients.

I feel she needs more practice on how to interact with patients and without making them feel awkward.
