At my first appointment to discuss a pituitary adenoma and possible surgical treatment, Dr. Omahen spent one and a half hours reviewing my symptoms, going over the MRI pictures with me, and answering my questions. The surgery was scheduled and cancelled once, however this was no fault of Dr. Omahen's. The day of the surgery Dr. Omahen met me in the operating room, reviewed what was going to happen and re-assured me that I was in good hands. The surgery was done transsphenoidally. Shortly after I woke in the recovery room, he was there to see me. In my short post-surgery hospital stay he visited me twice a day until discharge. He has excellent bed side manner and is very easy to talk to. To date his follow-up care and accessibility have been excellent. The results of the surgery rate a 10/10 overall. I would recommend Dr. Omahen without hesitation for pituitary tumor surgery.
