I had a bad fall and I was taken to Oakville Memorial Hospital. I was lucky to have Dr. MacDougall take care of me. He was kind and caring following through with tests. My five sons found Ian informed them of what he was doing and took time to explain and reassure them Several of them had to return home and they left feeling was in superior hands. I can't say enough about his knowledge. A medical problem I have had for a year he cleared up and I am so grateful. My family and I very much hope he will take me on as a patient. My doctor is retiring shortly and Ian is the answer to my prayers...

Dr. Ian McDougall was in charge of my mother's care when she was transferred from emergency to palliative care. He was very engaged and concerned about her welfare, visiting her daily to see how she was coping until she passed away at age 95. His care was exemplary and demonstrated his professionalism and his desire to make my mother's last days as comfortable as possible. This made a big difference in how my brother and I had to deal with her loss at a sad and stressful time. After her passing he personally called us and offered his condolences, wishing us strength at a very difficult time.
