I Have had the privilege of having her as my specialist for 3 1/2 yrs +. Kind, compassionate and caring. She actually listens to the patient and family. I admire her expertise very much. So disappointed do to my demographic location she wants to send me to South Zone. I trust her and just cannot see me seeing or trusting anyone but her. She is quick to get on your ailments, assess and treat! Could not ask for a better doctor!

I saw Dr. Adriana Lazarescu approximately 1.5 months at the university of Alberta hospital. I went in with what I could only describe as gallbladder attacks (I have no gallbladder!). After numerous tests and an overnight visit she came to see me the morning after I got there and told me she would be running some tests. A few hours later she came back and told me she was diagnosing me with a pretty rare hard to diagnose disorder and was sending me for an emergency ercp. Not only was she through in looking for a solution to my problem she immediately got me in to have it treated. I had been waiting for that same procedure from another Dr who refused to do it and she got me in without hesitation. If ever I need a gastroenterologist I will be going to the U of A to see her. She was extremely professional, very polite and didn't treat me like there was nothing wrong with me like so many other drs have! She is s great Dr and I recommend her to anyone in need of a GI.

My experience with Dr. Lazarescu was informative and comforting. I was reassured with her knowledge and compassion that I would receive the best possible care . The tests that were necessary were made to be as comfortable and dignified as possible. My comments and suggestions were respected and taken into consideration when determining a mutual direction to take with my care. I am sincerely thankful for the care she gave me.
