Dr. Cleghorn is an EXCELLENT doctor at Sunnybrook Hospital. Dr. Cleghorn treated my father with excellent results and he was kind, caring, compassionate and explained the treatment plan carefully and simply so that it was clearly understood by my father. Dr. Cleghorn is extremely intelligent and professional and we thank him for his amazing care and treatment. He paid close attention with the utmost care for an entire 7 hours towards my father. My father is now cured and our entire family is truly grateful to this outstanding Doctor for his miraculous work and compassion.

I was into the Emergency Room because I had pains all along my right side of my body and in particular the arm. I had been in two days earlier with similar symptoms and the doctor who was on kind of blew it off and didn't take me seriously and had me leave. When I went back I was certainly hesitant as to whether they would even listen - thank goodness he was on. He immediately ordered blood tests and looked at everything and reassured me after doing a few tests that it appeared as though it was my nerves, not my blood vessels, arteries or anything else serious of that matter. He was kind, warm and confident and listened to what I had to say without judgement - I felt much better after leaving and am now seeing a neurologist next week.

After 2 useless visits to the most HORRIFIC HOSPITAL ON EARTH (Mackenzie health in richmond hill) I decided enough is enough and went to Sunnybrook. Am I ever glad I did. So I have been having a lot of problems with my stomach throwing up blood very nauseous unable to eat for the past week and visited the other hospital twice as i mentioned. Both times they sent me home and told me to wait till I see a specialist. my episodes of vomiting sometimes cause me to faint and hit my head... Simply waiting at home while puking my guts out till i "see the specialist" was not an option. Anyway, this DR is amazing From his conversations with his co-workers to how seriously concerned he was for all of his patients well-being. First off, he actually spent REAL TIME on each person. He had an assistant who was just as amazing (sorry i cannot get his name its not on my prescriptions) his assistant would see patients first then report back to DR. Cleghorn to be further examined. I heard him speaking to the assistant on numerous occasions where he THOROUGHLY went through EVERYTHING ... COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN MACKENZIE HEALTH where ur begging for iv & being yelled at (In NO WAY am i exaggerating this.) I also over heard him continuously telling his assistant to go grab lunch because apparently he hadnt eaten all day, he was very concerned his colleague ate. Whatever they are paying him is NOT enough. DR. Cleghorn if you ever see this I would like to truly thank you from the bottom of my heart not only for taking care of me, but for also reminding me that humanity does exist within your field of work. Having been seen by Mackenzie Health so many times, I actually started to believe all doctors and nurses are horrible and inhumane. You definitely restored my confidence.

very caring, won't let you leave the hospital until he's sure you are fine. I had a car accident and went to Sunnybrook for X-ray for my head, after X-ray result suggesting I am OK. Dr. Cleghorn said he just wanted to make sure and gave me an CT. After CT result suggesting I am fine. He asked about my neck and shoulder pain then gave me the right pain killer. Very hard to meet a doctor with this level of caring for ER patients!!! And the hospital was busy. I was so happy he was the doctor taking care of me.

Two days, ago, Dr. Cleghorn brought me back from what could well have been a life-threatening condition after I was hit at full speed by a vehicle. Virtually no part of my body was untouched. Dr. Cleghorn swiftly ordered a series of X-rays and a CT scan to assess my condition. He followed up quickly with his assessment. I was in the emergency department for ten hours. Dr. Cleghorn closely tracked my condition for eight of those hours until his shift ended. a follow-up visit with Dr. Cleghorn today confirmed the high regard that I have for him as a medical professional. Little snippets of conversation between Dr. Cleghorn and the hospital staff while I was still in trauma indicate how fine a team member he is at Sunnybrook. For example, he offered a staff member a ride home at the end of his shift because that person might miss his bus. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to Dr. Cleghorn in my hour of need. Thanks to Dr. Cleghorn, my condition is now much better than anticipated
