Most places reuqrie that your Rx be stable for at least one year; sometimes longer. If you wear soft contacts, you'll need to be out of them for a week or two before having a LASIK work-up; you'll need to be out of gas permeable contacts for several weeks or months since those types of lenses can distort your corneas. You also need to be tested to make sure that you meet certain other criteria such as tear production, corneal thickness, and pupil size, amoung other things. Was this answer helpful?

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. :( I went through 2 mrsaciriages and I know how hard it is emotionally. I chose to wait for it to pass naturally and it was pretty painful for a few hours (while my uterus contracted). It felt like very heavy period cramping for me. But it eventually passed on its own. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I chose to have it pass naturally but one of the biggest downsides of it was that I had to wait a few days for it pass. And it was really hard living those days knowing that I was still carrying the baby in my stomach. :( A close friend of mine decided to do the D&C immediately when she had her miscarriage because she couldn't carry the baby for a few days knowing how it would all end. I say go with whatever you feel is right for you. I'm sorry for your loss. :(
