This doctor is a departure from what you might expect to encounter in Psychiatry. Hopefully, the quality of care Dr. Wieman offers is a sign of things to come in the field. A highly competent, compassionate, and intuitive doctor who will treat you as a person, not just a patient or another case to be categorized, and (all too often) quickly dismissed. Dr. Wieman will be thoughtful in processing the needs and symptoms of the patient in order to give the most accurate of diagnoses. In other words, will not be predicting your next sentence before you have actually communicated it. I'm not sure why this skill is so lacking in the medical profession in Ontario, but I'm certain it's the biggest disservice to all of it's clients, and a massively underdiagnosed financial drain on the system at large. Should you have the opportunity to be in the care of Dr. Wieman you will experience a level of service that sadly, (regardless of the calibre of doctor) is almost non-existent in Ontario these days. Dr Wieman is excellent and I emphatically recommend her.
