After heart surgery six weeks prior, I experienced problems with breathing. Finally went to Emerg and Dr Lirenman assessed me, ordered every possible test to determine cause(s). ET RN "Dall" was diligent, worked well with Dr Lirenman - checked on me regularly, asked how I was doing, clarified what was being done, which test to expect next, asked if I wanted some water for my dry mouth and throat, kept me informed each step of the way. Dr Lirenman would come in after each test to give me results, told me what was to happen next, and eventually after all tests were completed, he explained that he needed to drain the fluid around my lung, and proceeded to do so, with his team of four nurses. The procedure was extremely painful, but he and his staff were comforting and helpful during the entire procedure. Can't thank Dr Lirenman and his efficient and caring staff for keeping me informed and helping to resolve my medical issue. Dr Lirenman was pleasant, informative, caring and extremely busy, yet I felt he had my concerns foremost on his mind and helped to make me feel like he was taking care of me. Thank you, thank you.
