Cannot believe that a doctor like this a able to practice. He has zero bed side manner. You would think that a doctor who happens to be a fill-in could show some compassion and be a little more encouraging. How could he be so cold and say that there is no hope that you have to live with the hand you have been dealt.

Never showed up to an ER consult for my father! floaters accompanied by flashing lights post catarct surgery 'could wait' till monday according to him. Without being present there I am surprised how this genius doctor knew that there couldn't be a possible retinal detachment. Maybe the ER physicians ophtalmoscopy was good enough for him, and mind you I am a physician in the US, all you can see on an opthalmoscope is a small view of the fundus of the eyeball never minor tears. Highly unprofessional & supreme lack of professional courtesy. He probably was having a great saturday afternoon/evening.
