I was sent to him by the Ontario Public Service and AMAPCEO for Manulife. I had a disappointing experience with this IME doctor. I felt that the assessment did not fully reflect my medical condition, symptoms, and the impact they have on my daily life. I expected a thorough, fair, and objective evaluation, with an opportunity to explain my concerns and have them properly considered. Manulife rejected my claim after I saw this man In my experience, the examination left me feeling that my concerns were not adequately understood or addressed. I believe an IME should be conducted with professionalism, respect, and careful consideration of the patient's medical history and reported limitations. He did none of this. I found him arrogant, self absorbed and condescending. He minimized the efficacy of my medications treatment and blamed all my problems on me and not the Ontario Public Service or Management. He was also annoying and badgering me with a barrage of questions regarding family history which appeared to be fishing for ways to deny my claim for his clients. Overall, I was extremely dissatisfied with the experience and felt that a more competent, compassionate approach would have made a difference.

He is paid by Insurance company to find holes in your claim so that they don't have to pay out. I remeber this Narcissist from Scarborough Hospital where he walks in and said "what is this a holiday" to us patients in the ward wearing pajamas and hospital gowns. Complete Arrogant POS who is on the Insurance Company Payroll.

I read what he wrote about me in his IME medical that my employer the Ontario Public Service paid for for WSIB. The report was completely fabricated from his fantasy. He claimed tests like Mini Mental status, Serial 7, other memory nonsense tests that were never actually done during the IME and he was 45 Min Late with no one else in the waiting room. He and Stanley Dermer his business partner, buddy and also IME scumbag For Manulife tried to double team me with more written Denial of illness and injury. We are in the process of ordering all IME records from Manulife. Ashley Bendover is a perfect moniker for you by the reviewer on Ripoff Report . I am so happy I saw that report. It reinforces how you made me feel. I couldn't believe what this coward wrote and then signed his name to it.

Dr Ash aka Ashley , aka Ashley David Bender was Hired to do IME for OPSEU and Ontario Public Service against me for WSIB. During IME he kept trying to pit words into my mouth. "You don't hear things do you?" "Is the Toaster talking to you?" "Is the Devil or Demons talking to you" "Any voices in your Head". Then claimed " there is nothing wrong" "to tell my client." "What do you do all day while collecting STD?" "maybe you should go to school to gain credentials to be more effective at work" He was harassing me in very aggressive manner. This review must stay here.
