Since I first saw Dr. Smyth in 2002, he has operated on my knees 5 times....3 on the left and 2 on the right. Now I see him every 6 months for injections. Compared to people who state that having once had an injection in the knee they would never go again....he's fantastic. Never any pain associated with it, and my level of pain is decreased for months. I've heard him tease, never out of line. I've seen and heard him practice restraint in telling someone their complaint cannot be fixed as they would like....over, and over, without losing patience. Considering I've had 16 or more appointments/surgeries, and I'm neither blind nor deaf, you'd think I'd notice if something was out of line!
