Never on time, they take walkins before people with appointments and recently two doctors left without informing patients until a full month had passed, as well transferred all medical docs to Toronto which are now only avvailable for a fee.

I would avoid this clinic and doctors at all cost. Went there this evening because my daughter has an ear ache and they turned us away because we are not patients of the clinic. I was not aware there were private clinics in ontario? We had Dr Mwana as family doctor but decided to switch because he is not paediatrician and does not provide the proper level of care for a child. He never asked probing questions or any if the type of questions our paediatrician asked on kingston. Go somewhere else!!!!!!

Desperate to see improvement
First website still directs patients to a non-existent telephone number despite numerous calls from this writer and many other patients to notify staff of this frustration. Staff are indifferent to the needs of patients - poorly organized and inattentive to the need to keep waste bins from over-flowing. On one visit there was blood-stained dressings in the sink in the examining room where I waited to be seen!! I politely advised a staff person and some 15 minutes later it was removed. The doctors don't seem able to maintain the quality of service to the many patients that staff book for appointment in any given day. Patients' frustrations and verbal complaints are constantly overheard in the ill-kept waiting area.

Staff extremely unhelpful, disorganized and often times rude or indifferent toward the patients' needs. I fully understand the clinic can become extremely busy especially a walk-in clinic but patients calling the clinic are invariably put on hold for lengthy periods of time. The clinic itself often appears to be untidy and ill-kept with waste materials spilling out of the bins in the examining rooms, dirty floors and patients standing in the hallways leading to the examining rooms. All in all a perpetual state of chaos and/or confusion among staff at all levels has been my experience when attending at this clinic. A year ago (September 2011) I advised the staff of the need to delete the 613 830-1900 telephone number listed on the website since I was told this number is no longer in operation. To date this telephone number still exists on the first Ste Marie Medical Centre website!!!!
