My doctor is great but there are a lot of things I don't understand, such as when I have many heart symptoms shown on an EKG I'm not entitled to have any heart testing. I don't understand a lot of reasons doctors refuse things. If the governmenmt has told them to cut costs, they should state so. If a patient is refused tests, he or she should be told why; otherwise the patients get confused and start to believe that maybe their doctors don't like them, or are even trying to purposely kill them. I also feel my doctor is far too overworked and too often has to assume the jobs of specialists because there aren't enough around, even though he won't have the knowledge. I also get a bit upset when I want an explanation of certain things shown on an MRI and the technician won't tell me and the doctor doesn't know. Who are people supposed to ask or make appointments with? The explanations from the tech to the doctor on the paper don't tell the patients many things they want to know.
