ALERT: DOCTOR BEING REPORTED FOR MISCONDUCT *DO NOT COME HERE* PLEASE READ My wife is a Type-1 Diabetic who has been diagnosed in 2015. For those of you who don’t know, T1D(Type-1 Diabetic) patients are insulin DEPENDENT. Meaning they CANNOT LIVE without INSULIN. My wife 3 days ago had run out of her long-acting insulin, to which she proceeded to call her doctor in an emergency during office hours to get a refill on her prescription. SHABNAM HUSSAIN did not get in touch with my wife who has been her patient for a few years, but instead told her receptionist to tell my wife she is refusing to give her, her insulin which she is DEPENDENT on and needs to take every day of her life for her to survive and live a healthy life without diabetes complications. Her receptionist called her back when they were closing their office and left a voicemail DENYING her, her medication prescription which SHE NEEDS TO LIVE. Her reasoning for not prescribing the insulin was because she needed to see bloodwork to prescribe her the recommended dosage she has been DIAGNOSED IN 2015, she had blood work done In 2018, this is a LIFE LONG DISEASE that has NO CURE so it does NOT MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR for her to need bloodwork to be prescribed a “recommended dosage”. Since they were closed my wife could not get her medication and this went on for 2 days until my wife was so SICK and they wouldn’t pick up any calls and when they finally did the receptionist refused to let her speak to the doctor and still refused any medication. She had extremely HIGH BLOOD SUGARS and had to go to the HOSPITAL to GET INSULIN. The HOSPITAL WAS DISGUSTED by her act and CONDEMNED this behaviour. AND JUST FOR FACTS The date today is OCT 2,2020 and today’s reporting for COVID-19 CASES in OTTAWA is 150 new cases. AS a medical practitioner SHABNAM HUSSAIN should know better than to make any T1D or IMMUNE COMPROMISED patient, go out of their house in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC to get BLOOD WORK SHE DOES NOT NEED, to be prescribed insulin SHE CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT. SHABNAM HUSSAIN should have her medical license revoked and she should be charged with EXTORTION. SHABNAM HUSSAIN who I will not call a doctor because she operated more as a “drug dealer” than a doctor is HEARTLESS, CRUEL, INHUMANE, and a PURE DISGUSTING HUMAN BEING who should not BE IN ANY LEVEL OF POWER or AUTHORITY. SHE HAS ABUSED HER POWER TO TAKE AWAY MY WIFES MEDICINE TO GET HER BLOOD WORK DONE. ALSO, her receptionist said my wife should not choose between her work because she couldn’t get time off to get her blood work and her HEALTH. And then they DON’T PRESCRIBE her medicine. She had been SICK for 2 days but they did not care and WOULD HAVE LET HER DIE. REPORTED TO CPSO. Currently speaking to lawyers on possible charges to be laid. If anyone has had misconduct by SHABNAM HUSSAIN, please file a complaint with CPSO.
