Dr. O'Shaughnessy is a brilliant doctor. He took us on after Dr. Todd retired. He takes the time to listen to the patient. He takes what you say seriously and does not assume. He follows up on what is necessary and reasonable and if it wasn't for his careful consideration, my teenage son could have been seriously ill. Instead, Dr. O'Shaughnessy caught a rare problem and thanks to his thoughtfulness, my son is well today. He takes time to ensure that you understand what is going on, he has a subtle sense of humour and I am glad that he is my children's and my, family doctor. His office staff (especially Terry) is wonderful and for a busy lady, who seems all too often unappreciated by some patients, she has always gone the extra mile to help us see the doctor when we really needed too. Some of the other staff leave much to be desired (not all) but isn't that true about any place? I do think that the medical clinic design is cold and uninviting. We were used to a more intimate décor when the doctors had their own separate offices but I think that most people (including those employed in the clinic) feel that they lost a bit of the personal touch with the move.
