I have taken three trips to the ER in the last eight months with severe stomach and lower back pain. The 1st two times I was sent home with pain-killers and told to contact a specialist Both times they missed what should have been a simple diagnosis. The symptoms I complained about were a carbon copy of the textbook definition for cholecystitis. I ended up with a perforated, inflamed and infected gall bladder. Had she not picked this up, I'm certain I would have been sent home again, this time with something that has worsened over time and would only continue to do so. Thanks for the pick-up Dr Phillips' Haven't been to her office yet, can't comment further, other than to say that she was pleasant, seemed very confident and was very decisive. I only commente on it in order to get this rating posted
