I have been denied as a patient due to a disability without ever meeting or speaking with this Doctor. To add insult to injury no one called to tell me - I had to call them and I was told there is no reason. After a little prssure as to the reason I was told that my health was all over the place. I had necrotizing fasciitis in Dec 2008 and have been ill with Myalgia Encephalitis/Chronic Fatigue & Fibromyalgia since then. This Doctor/Patient query is descriminating simply because I have been denied due to my disability. The Doctor & Surgeon code of ethics do not allow denial due to disability. If this doctor felt he was not at the competency level to care for a patient with a high maintenance medical issue then according to the code of ethics I should have been informed and directed to another Doctor who would be better suited. Not only do I consider this situation rude but I also find it demeaning and disrespectful on any level of standards.
