Nadine Dennis
My mother is 80 years old and is a patient of Dr. Cook. She finds Dr. Cook rude and bad tempered. I think she lacks compassion and treats her patients disrespectfully. The doctor does not adequately explain things to her, she has never physically examined her and sends her for one test after the other without any explanation about a plan of treatment. She waves her off telling her to talk to her daughter. This is stressful and frightening for my mother. We will definitely be seeking another Doctor. Elderly patients have special needs and deserve to be treated with respect and compassion, but with the shortage of doctors in Toronto it will not be an easy task.
