Spent months calling from my isolated location, to see a NEPHROLOGIST in late August and was repeatedly told to call back later when they knew the doctors schedule. Finally traveled to Penticton to be told the Neph I wanted to see was only available two days in August and those days had already past. They offered to book me with another Neph but the only spot available conflicted with a very important commitment I had made 1 year in advance. If I new from the get go how disorganized HEARTLINE was with booking appointments, I never would have dealt them! Frustrating!

Hello I am a 24 year old that recently had a colonoscopy by Dr. Papay. I was not pleased and i was really offended when she couldn't find anything that could cause my intestinal problems and pain so she blames my history of mental illness (depression) for my intestinal problems and says i have psychological problem that causes me to feel pain when i shouldn't!!! which is not true and not for her to say so. During the procedure Dr. Papay and two nurses told me to shut up and be quiet when i was screaming in pain! I feel that my history of mental illness (depression) and her discrimination got in the way of an actual diagnoses. This type of discrimination needs to stop before someone gets hurt!!!!!!
