In my opinion my symptoms got worse during the DBT Outpatient program I attended. In my opinion my coach didn't do his job--he didn't allow me to discuss my suicidal thoughts and self-harming impulses. I experienced his behavior as lazy and dishonest. In my opinion my attempts to get the treatment others received were not successful. I allege that the treatment I received was inadequate. I was scared of the staff and didn't think I'd be believed. I didn't believe they cared about me as much as they cared about their job security. I felt like an object being processed, not a human being. I allege that my coach boasted he didn't read my file, and I allege that no staff bothered to take my history or help me with what I thought of as my problems, my suicidal thoughts and self-hatred. Feeling so pressured to be fake, I got worse and now feel more despair.
