Dr. Eckler was my family doctor for forty years and was the best North Bay had to offer! I was sad when he moved to the new location not as friendly as it was with Monique. However, his fast action with getting me into a cat scan for my "brain" saved my life. Two aneurisms were found and he sent me to Dr. Leo da Costa (neurologist) in Toronto who fixed them both!(coiled one and clipped the other) Today I am still feeling the effects of a small left sided stroke but I graduated last month from Business Admin at Niagara College here in St. Catharines and if it were not for Dr. Eckler I doubt I would be walking this earth right now. My family are also thankful to him for such a quick response many doctors may not have acted so quickly and had such a good connection to Sunnybrook's best! Thank you and wishing Dr. Eckler all the best in the New Year!
