I went to the hospital with thrush.... Doc took me to a hospital bed that was used and had blood on it... I refused to stay in there... She then took me to a badly lite room.. Looked in my mouth with no light and said I didn't have thrush.. I have had it many times and know when I have it...I told her to look again... She then took me to another room with more light... Finally she said to me thank you for making me look again!!! Are you kidding me???? That was the worst hospital visit I have ever had... I hope I don't have to go back there with something very serious and have that Doctor........

August 10th 2011, I had suffered a rather badly broken leg and was brought to Soldier's Memorial Hospital in Orillia. I was admitted in the Emergency Dept. with little delay and was immediately cared for by Dr. Haak and the wonderful Staff in the E.R. Dr. Haak was able to "temporarily" set my leg in order to allow me to get home to Markham that evening. Dr. Haak also made the necessary arrangements for me to have surgery on my leg the following day at Markham Stouffville Hospital. My comment here really doesn't do justice as to how reassured and comforted I felt while in the care of Dr. Haak and the E.R. staff. My very heartfelt thanks, Ed Markham, Ontario
