2 major problems (other than the ridiculous wait times!): 1. Without ANY test, scan or examintation, he told my father he had a particular condition and had sent him for testing which had my father gone through with, would have killed him. The problem was in fact colon cancer and had Dr Del Rizzo done his due diligence, my father would still be with us today. 2. Both himself and his wife care only about the almighty dollar! My mother had gone to the pharmacy in the building to return a sharps container containing needles from my father. The pharmacist instructed her to remove the needles and place them in to a different container. She pricked herself and went upstairs to see Dr. Del Rizzo. He was busy and his wife spoke with my mother and told her that is normal practice to have a patient transfer needles from one container to another. IT IS NOT NORMAL PRACTICE! When I called to speak with her regarding this situation, she was uncaring. I explained to her that I was merely calling to prevent this incident from happening again and I suggested that if a patient inquires on procedures, that they should educate the patient. Her response? "It's outside of what we do. It has nothing to do with us." Uhhmmm....the last time I checked, you're supposed to be care givers! RUN FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE! IF YOU'RE PARENTS SEE HIM, FIND ANOTHER DOCTOR'S OFFICE THAT ACTUALLY CARES!
