Had a colonoscopy on Oct.16 for the first time. I'm also a bit anxious with IV's due to uncooperative veins. From the time I walked in I was treated with genuine warmth and kindness. My bedside nurse, the anaesthetist who did my IV and was so kind in the theatre (had the most beautiful accent), the OR nurse, and my general surgeon were all fantastic. I have been in the hospital more times than I wish and I can say that I have never been treated with such compassiion as on this day. Kudo's to all of you who were with me that morning. I thank each and everyone of you! Sneaky, stealthy hands, and throat lozengers are a couple laughs that will stay with me.
