My main concerns: - Refused to to a vaginal examination for an unknown infection - Wanted to prescribe antibiotics without a diagnosis "just see if they work for whatever you have" - Used the word gross to describe my parts several times (without seeing them) - Said "I am an older man, I don't want to go poking around down there" - Refused to swab me - After insisting I needed a proper diagnosis, he handed me a fancy q tip and told me to do it myself. - Left with no instructions on how to properly swab. - Did not ask any questions (ex: are you sexually active? New partners? Have you had any infections before?) - Appeared very uncomfortable - Should not be dealing with sexual health matters. - I left with a prescription and no other instructions. I usually deal with another Doctor in the same building and am very happy with her. I will not be making another appointment with Dr. Joesphson agin, even if it is urgent .
