I am not commenting on Dr. Bolton's secretary Coralyn. She is great to me. The one that I have a complaint about is the girl who sits beside Coralyn. Dark hair tied back. On Jan. 12th I was waiting in the waiting area for a patient and heard her on the phone several times with patients. She was argumentative and rude. When she was finished her calls she would make comments about them with coworkers (loudly). January 13th I had to quickly drop off something. I realized it was about 12:45 pm (lunchtime). It was also my lunch hour. The office door was locked but she was there at her desk and looked up and saw me then looked away. I knocked on the glass. She looked up and I mouthed my request. SHE ROLLED HER EYES, GOT UP AND PARTIALLY OPENED THE DOOR AND SAID YOU DO REALIZE IT IS LUNCH TIME. I said I just wanted to drop something off. Then she said COME, LEAVE IT IN THE BATHROOM.....and walked away STATING AGAIN THAT IT WAS LUNCH TIME AND SHE DIDN'T WORK FOR DR. BOLTON'S OFFICE. I said I did realize it was lunch time and it was my lunch time too but I was doing a favour for my husband who couldn't make it in. I told her she was rude and had very bad customer service skills. I told her I would never speak to my customers like that. Then I left. Where does she get off treating people like that. She is not above anyone. We are all hard working people and getting in to that office or reaching anyone on the phone is EXTREMELY difficult. THEY HAVE JOBS BECAUSE OF US. I work in government and it is a very busy job but my office is very pro customer service and we do our best every day making each and every person we deal with feel important. In closing, that secretary should be sent for some very intense CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. If you hate your job that much quit and give someone else a chance to do the job better.

Dr. Bolton Secretary is unprofessional. I have been told to go to ER eleven times in two years because there was no available appt. for sometimes up to four weeks. Dr. Bolton seems to work more in ER then his office. He is not a personable guy at all. When I signed up to this practice I was told there would always be a physician to see me if necessary. That there were eighteen physicians in the practice. That's a joke. I only call now when I need prescription refills because for any other illness, it's generally gone or I'd be dead by the time I hit in to see him. The secretary loves to tell you about costs OHIP doesn't cover so bring your money to the appt. Just seems compassion and care have left healthcare at yhis practice. Called Care Connect to see if I could change doctors but was told no not unless he is retiring, ill or dead. I'd say thank God for a physician but in this case not really!

Dr. Bolton's secretary should not be working with the public. She is callous, cold, heartless, condescending, rude, argumentative and just plain not a nice person. I have heard her on the telephone while I wait for my appointment raising her voice to patients on the telephone. This office really needs to consider employing someone who is compassionate as healthcare professionals should be.

Dr. Bolton's office is poorly run. His reciptionist is callous and uncaring. She has ice running through her veins. You cannot get an appointment for weeks even if the situation is urgent.

Dr. Boltons girl is impolite. Inconsiderate, looses files on a regular basis, if she forgets to log an appoint she tells the patient it was their fault and they did not call for the appointment. It takes her two to three weeks to send out a referral letter. Has no idea where the hospitals in Kingston are and no idea how to contact them.
