My father has had Dr. Trautman perform a hernia repair. This was a DAY PROCEDURE on a 90 year old man and he was sent home that afternoon with a four inch incision. He woke that night in excruciating pain. We called an ambulance and he spent most of the weekend in E. R. This was followed by six days of hospitalization. I made many attempts to Bring this case to the attention of "the very busy" Dr.Trautman. I've spoken to his nurse numerous times. I also was told by an attending physician that he would be sure to bring it to his attention when he saw him in the O.R. Dr. Trautman has not seen my father since the surgery. It has now been almost ONE YEAR. My father is still having localized pain at the place of Dr. Trautman's operation. Really makes me mad. Also I have not heard back from his office. These comments are the only way I have left to get his attention.
