Dr Wasfi is the worst doctor I've ever experienced. From the beginning his attitude was bitter, resentful, unhelpful, lacking in empathy or compassion. He recommended taking statins to deal with high cholesterol, so I notified him that I will take red rice yeast as a supplement, see the results before resorting to statins. Because I did not immediately pursue his recommended treatment, he became offended and said he was terminating treatment. This violates patients rights, it is against ethical medical practices to deny treatment because a patient does not following a recommended treatment. This aside, when given results of past medical tests which included units and values in a different system, he refused to do any conversions to offer insight into the results. When my medical records were requested during the earlier part of our treatment, Dr Wasfi insisted this be obtained online. This is of course false, as the patient has a right to obtain the records by any number of available and preferred means, which was confirmed later by the receptionist emailing my the records. This was done to cause personal inconvenience. All of this leads me to conclude that Dr Wasfi engages in unethical health practices which is potentially endangering to the health of the patient. Its very difficult now to find a doctor in Canada, and my extremely high cholesterol needs supervision. Even if I am to take statins, I will have to wait a very long time now to find another doctor so I can receive prescriptions. Very shameful conduct from somebody who should be striving towards the ideal of a healer
