Dr Ghali has been following my dad for months now and I appreciated how he always had a sense of urgency when my father had an urgent condition esp, considering my fathers age; some personnel in Quebec's health care would not even bother to go out of their way . What was difficult , especially since I was alone taking care of my dad, is the poor communication in the hospital and understaffing made my experience a nightmare. So much almost had a breakdown a few times , that is not the doctors fault , it is the Medicare system in Quebec needs improvement , diplomatically speaking! ! It has been 4 months of nightmare ! And I know I was a bother for the personnel at Maisonneuve Rosemont hospital, but I was alone and I did everything to fight for my dads well being. THIS IS WHY I APPRECIATE THE HOW DR . GHALI ALWAYS TREATED MY DAD WITH A SENSE OF EMERGENCY. Also there needs to be improvement by some nurses at the hospital on how to apply the dressing on the legs and feet , there were a few mistakes and my dad's condition has no room for errors ; since that was his treatment and his vascular condition is severe and chronic.
