Shona McFadden

The most amazing Physician I have ever known. After all these years I am embarking on the toughest and bravest journey to date, and my ability to do so I credit to Dr. Brabender. The kind and gentle way he had gave me the courage twenty years ago to start this journey and I will keep his words of wisdom and guidance with me now. He was the most approachable and open minded Doctor who always made time. He always made me feel safe and empowered, and any issues that he was not familiar with he sought out and and provided resources. I will always continue to be grateful for his help, kindness and humour. Love, Shona

James Patrick Brabender

To my Grandfather Andrew Brabender, I truly never got a real chance to know you Grandfather (I was age 4 when Cancer took you away) but hearing as you were a respected member and influencial voice in your community this gives me hope that I can follow in the steps of a once great man. I want to thank you for everything you tried to give me in my life and hope that one day we can meet in the afterlife & talk over some good Whisky & Scotch. I love you Grangpa and trust in us to spread the legacy you tried to build - adding a touch of humanity wherever help is needed and bringing a positive light to a darkening world. You were my Grandfather, a beloved Father, a loyal brother & a friend to so many. Your memory will forever live on in our Hearts. GodBless! A Tribute to your Memory GrandFather: You loved this Song! _____________________ + _______________________ Now, for ten years we've been on our own And moss grows fat on a rolling stone But that's not how it used to be When the Jester sang for the king and queen In a coat he borrowed from James Dean And a voice that came from you and me Oh and while the king was looking down The Jester stole his thorny crown The courtroom was adjourned No verdict was returned And while Lenin read a book on Marx The quartet practiced in the park And we sang dirges in the dark The day the music died We were singing Bye, bye Miss American Pie Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry And them good old boys were drinking whiskey and rye Singing this'll be the day that I die This'll be the day that I die _____________________ + _______________________ We will never forget you GrandFather, your Family.
