My family member saw Dr. Lactot in the emergency ward at Charles Lemoyne hospital. My family member was hesitant about going to Charles Lemoyne hospital because he is anglophone and the hospital does not have the greatest reputation for offering service in English. Dr. Lanctot was perfectly bilingual, explained everything thoroughly and ensured testing was done quickly that day. Unfortunately the Diagnosis was not what we hoped for but Dr. Lanctot called my family member at home that night (after the emergency visit to the hospital) to provide him with more information and to see if there were any questions. I feel fortunate that my family member saw Dr. Lanctot. the doctor was efficient, proactive and sensitive to the fact that my family member just learnt that he had cancer. He provided excellent service and he had a very good bedside manner.
