Dr. Khattak heard only what he wanted to hear. Rather than treat me for the issue I needed help with, he diagnosed me with a symptom of the actual problem. The meds he prescribed exacerbated the original condition and, thus, worsened the condition he diagnosed me with. Furthermore, the side effects of these meds were so disgusting and embarrassing that I could hardly live with myself, let alone leave the house. When I complained about these negative effects he just brushed me off and increased the dose of my meds. I feel so helpless now, and I really need help with the condition I approached him for.

Dr. Khattak, is very personable and knowledgeable. I found that he explains your diagnosis extenstively he also asks your input with respect to medication. He also allows you to have input in your care. I find him caring and if you have something going on and can't get in to see him he will call you at home if necessary to check to see how you are. He also is very direct with his opinion and he is good at answering questions that you have about your illness. Excellent psychiatrist as he's not a pill pusher. Also in an emergency situation he has no qualms about certifying you under the mental health act if he feels its necessary. He also will go to bat for his patients and takes patient confidentiality very seriously.

On two separate occasions this "doctor" showed up several hours late, was lacking any empathy or outgoing concern for my situation, instead he lamented about how long his day had been, became overly dramatic with his indignant intolerance towards my appeal to him to qualify my needs by conversing with me instead of offering no emotional contact while he struggled with an obvious language barrier to be very clinical with a questionnaire that I could have filled out without waiting for hours for him as a patient at Emergency. He lacks the resilience of understanding patients with mental health issues can/will present anxiety challenges that may require establishing some human interaction based on compassion before he can simply profile or offer his prognosis.
