I have dealt with Dr Pienaar on 2 different occasions at the GRH Emergency Room. I appreciated that busy as he was, he took the time to answer my questions in a friendly and personable manner. He was knowledgeable and spoke at level that was easy to follow.

This Dr is fantastic, for an ER environment which is always fast paced and busy. I'm pretty sure I never saw him sit down the entire time I was there. He puts a lot of miles on those shoes. Friendly, caring, and always seems to be in control. Took the time to make sure I understood what was wrong and what I had to do to make it right. Never rushed, always checked on myself and others whenever he walked by. Always has is eyes open and aware of all the patients. A true professional, Master of their craft. They could use a few more like him. Excellent job Doc. Thanks for treating me like the patient, and not just the next patient.
